- Notice of Intent to Prepare Emigration Canyon Metro Township General Plan Update This notice is given pursuant to Utah Code Ann. 10-9a-203 and is being sent to those entitled to such notice under Utah Code Ann. 10-9a-203(1). PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that Emigration Canyon intends during the remainder of the 2019 calendar year and during the 2020 calendar year to update the Emigration Canyon General Plan. The update is being prepared in compliance with Utah Code Ann. 10-9a-401 through -407. The update addresses long range planning for the entire community, within the adopted boundaries and will contain the State required elements as well as additional important planning subjects. The intent of Emigration Canyon is to complete this amendment effort by May 2020. The public and each of the affected entities are invited to provide information for Emigration Canyon to consider in the process of preparing, adopting, and implementing the plan update concerning: (a) impacts the use of land proposed in the plan update may have on such affected entity; and (b) uses of land within the plan area that such affected entity is planning or considering that may conflict with the plan update. Interested parties are encouraged to subscribe to future notices through the State Public Notice website (http://www.utah.gov/pmn/index.html) or the project website for further information, including detailed meeting agendas and other issues related to the planning process.
