Virgin Town will be holding a municipal Election on November 5, 2019 for two four (4) year Council seats. These seats are presently held by Daniel Snyder and LeRoy Thompson.
Declaration of Candidacy and Nominating Petition forms must be filed in person with the Virgin Town Clerk, Monica Bowcutt, at 114 S. Mill St., Virgin, Utah from June 3, 2019 to June 7, 2019, during regular Business Hours, which are 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.
Filings will be accepted until 2:00 pm on Friday June 7, 2019.
Candidates must meet the following qualifications:
1) Be a United States citizen at the time of filing.
2) Be a resident of the Town of Virgin for a period of at least 12 consecutive
months immediately preceding the date of the election.
3) Be a registered voter in the Town of Virgin.
4) Any mentally incompetent person, any person convicted of a felony, or
any person convicted of treason or a crime against the elective franchise
may not hold office in this state until the right to hold elective office is
restored as provided by statute.
