APPROVAL OF MARCH 12, 2019 MINUTES:
Councilmember Micheal Stringer moved to make a motion to accept the minutes of March 12, 2019 as corrected. A second was made by Councilmember Frank Riding. The vote was unanimous, motion carried. (1st Motion)
PLANNING AND ZONING: No Report
DELEGATIONS:
Justin Johnson came before the council in regard to whether he will annex into Mona City. He stated it will be less expense at the present time to install a septic system, however he will keep the council updated on any changes or decisions he may make in the future in reference to moving forward to annex.
DIRECTOR OF FINANCES, SECRETARY/TREASURER &
RECORDERS REPORT:
Director of Finance Everd Squire presented The Mona City Disbursement Listing for checking dated 03/13/2019 to 03/26/2019. Councilmember Long asked about check #3310 in the amount of $2,170.72, issued to Levan Irrigation Company, and check # 3309,

Issued to KS Statebank in the amount of $1,439.02. The questions were answered sufficiently.
There were three (3) checks over the allotted amount of $2,000.
The Disbursement Listing is attached and will become a permanent part of the minutes for public viewing.
He again asked the council to go over the proposed budget, and let him know if they have questions which can be discussed at the next meeting. He said the city is still in good position in regard to the budget.
The tentative budget will be presented the first meeting in May and the final budget will be adopted the first meeting in June.
Secretary/Treasurer Michelle Dalton reported that the burn permits will be available March 30 through April 30; applicants must go on line to receive a burn permit. We are still working on water meters and making progress to get them up and running properly.
COUNCIL BUSINESS:
There were two fence permits issued and no business licenses.
Bryce Chappell also came in for a single family fence permit; location 727 E 50 S on a corner lot, 6 ft vinyl.
Councilmember Jay Mecham moved to make a motion to approve and issue a fence permit to Bryce Chappell as described above with a second by Councilmember Frank Riding. Motion carried. (2nd Motion)
Seth Beutler residing at 18 W 900 S came in for a single family fence permit; Freeway Fencing, corner lot, vinyl, rear side 6 ft.
Councilmember Katrina Long moved to make a motion to issue a fence permit to Seth Beutler as stated above, with a second by Councilmember Randy Christensen. Motion carried, (3rd Motion)
Councilmember Randy Christensen is still working with the CIB funding and will keep the council updated and information is available.
Councilmember Micheal Stringer updated the County Commissioner meeting in reference to Houweling's tomatoe plant.
Councilmember Jay Mecham Invited Jeff Elbert and Brent Arns, Sewer Plant Supervisor to explain the situation in regard to the malfunction of the sewer plant pumps. No decisions were made only suggestions due to the fact that neither Jeff or Brent were included on the agenda items.
For the entire conversation and presentation refer to recording at 25:27 minutes.
During the last council meeting Councilmember Katrina Long had concerns in regard to purchasing new pumps and the high maintenance of the pumps she suggested there may be a better way to maintain the pumps.
Councilmember Katrina Long has ordered the Easter eggs for the hunt on April 20; she would like to have help the morning of distributing eggs in the park.

The Pioneer Day Committee met on March 13, another meeting will be held April 24th at 10:00 a.m.
She is still in need of two committee members, please put the word out.
FYI:
There were four (4) motions voted upon and passed, a motion to approve the March 12, 2019 minutes, a motion to approve a fence permit for Bryce Chappell, a motion to approve a fence permit for Seth Beutler, and a motion to adjourn this meeting of March 26, 2019.
PAY FINANCES ADJOURNMENT:
Councilmember Katrina Long moved to make a motion to pay the finances and adjourn, a second was made by Councilmember Randy Christensen, the vote was unanimous, motion carried. (4th Motion)
The city council meeting was then adjourned at 8:48 p.m., with no further comments.
AN EXECUTIVE SESSION IF NECESSARY:
An executive session was not necessary.
