- NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Washington County School District 121 W Tabernacle, St. George, Utah 84770 February 12, 2019 4:30 PM PUBLIC HEARING FOR PROPOSED BOUNDARY CHANGE AND SCHOOL RE-PURPOSING - The Washington County Board of Education will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at 4:30 p.m. The purpose of this hearing is to receive public comment on a proposed change to the boundaries of Coral Cliffs Elementary and Dixie Sun Elementary schools. The boundaries of Arrowhead Elementary, Diamond Valley Elementary, Red Mountain Elementary, Santa Clara Elementary, and Sunset Elementary schools would also be adjusted to take in additional students. As part of this change, the Coral Cliffs Elementary building will be re-purposed as a professional development school and as a District program facility. In addition, Dixie Sun Elementary will begin a dual-language strand/hybrid in order to accommodate the increased enrollment from the new boundary students. A map of the proposed boundary changes and adjustments can be viewed at www.washk12.org.
