STATE RECORDS COMMITTEE MEETING Thursday, November 8, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Utah State Archives Building 346 S. Rio Grande St. Salt Lake City, UT 84101 NOTE: The Chair may recess at 12:00 p.m. and may reconvene at 12:30 p.m. for lunch when there are three or more hearings scheduled. AGENDA HEARINGS: Simonson Law (for Lynn David) v. Wasatch County: Requesting access to Transient Room Tax fund records. People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) and Students for Animal Welfare (SAW) v. University of Utah: Requesting a fee waiver for the $5,000.00 costs associated with record production. Brady Eames v. 12 Entities: Requesting access constructively denied records related to official bonds, oaths of office and inter-local ULGT records. WITHDRAWN/POSTPONED HEARINGS: Snow Jensen & Reece v. Beaver County Sheriff's Office: Requesting access to client's investigation file and related records and video. Postponed. Melissa Frost v. Utah Valley University: Requesting access to records related to the investigation into her termination of employment. Withdrawn. Randy Andrus v. Unified Police Department (UPD): Requesting access to denied open investigation file into death of Leon Brown. Withdrawn. Dyer Law Group v. Department of Public Safety: Requesting access to Peace Officer Standards Training records. Withdrawn. Janae Wanschaffe v. Highland City: Requesting a fee waiver for emails related to harassment misconduct at Highland City. Postponed. BUSINESS: Discussion Suggestions for an Administrative Rule regarding normal working hours. Proposed bills for the upcoming 2019 legislative session.
