STATE RECORDS COMMITTEE MEETING Thursday, October 11, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Utah State Archives Building 346 S. Rio Grande St. Salt Lake City, UT 84101 NOTE: The Chair may recess at 12:00 p.m. and may reconvene at 12:30 p.m. for lunch when there are three or more hearings scheduled. AGENDA HEARINGS: Gollaher v. Morgan County: Requesting appeal for no response from CAO on appeal. Issue is fee waiver denial for $800.00 dollar fee. Also Morgan County identifies this request as a duplicate request to previous request for records referencing him from Nov. 1, 2011 through present. R. Blake Hamilton, Durham Jones & Pinegar (for Raymond Clinton) v. Tooele School District: Requesting records related to Stansbury High School Baseball program and Raymond Clinton as the former coach. Michael Clara v. Salt Lake City Mayor's Office: Requesting a fee waiver for current traffic count records and associated documents in reference to the SLC Transportation Division lane reduction project related to Poplar Grove area. Elias Faraclas v. Lehi City: Requesting access to partial denial of Lehi City records related to City Commissioners. WITHDRAWN/POSTPONED HEARINGS: Randy Andrus v. Unified Police Department (UPD): Requesting access to denied open investigation file into death of Leon Brown. (Postponed) Jeremy Brodis (Parr Brown Gee & Loveless) for Jimmy Tobias, MuckRock News v. Governor's Office: Appealing access to record re Public Lands Policy Coordinating Office (PLPCO) draft, PLPCO Transition Objectives. (Withdrawn) Dennis Judd (Estate of Kenneth Goodrich) v. Uintah County Sheriff's Office: Requesting complete case file for investigation of death of Kenneth Goodrich on March 20, 2017. No response was provided by the gov't entity initially or on appeal to CAO. (Withdrawn) Brady Eames v. Cache County: Requesting to view and inspect Bonds for 13 officers of Cache County. No response was provided by the gov't entity initially or on appeal to CAO. (Withdrawn) BUSINESS: Discussion: Suggestions from legal counsel for amendments to SRC Administrative Rules. Approval of September 13, 2018, SRC Minutes, action item Retention Schedules, action item: None SRC appeals received, report Cases in District Court Other Business Next meeting scheduled for November 8, 2018 @ 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Committee members able to attend next scheduled meeting.
