'PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Board of Commissioners of Weber County, Utah will hold a regular commission meeting in the Commission Chambers of the Weber Center, 2380 Washington Boulevard, Ogden, Utah, commencing at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, the 1st day of May, 2018. The agenda for the meeting consists of the following: A. Welcome - Commissioner Harvey B. Invocation - Marty Smith C. Pledge of Allegiance - Scott Mendoza D. Thought of the Day - Commissioner Ebert E. Presentation Weber County Legislative Recap. Presenter: UAC Legislative Team Recognition for Zachary Thomas, Weber County Intern Presenter: Ricky Hatch F. Consent Items 1. Request for approval of warrants #1422-1424 and #427678-427897 in the amount of $1,068,985.27. 2. Request for approval of purchase orders in the amount of $62,135.62. 3. Request for approval of the minutes for the meeting held on April 24, 2018. 4. Request for approval of new business licenses. 5. Request for approval of policies. 6. Request for approval of a Severance Agreement by and between Weber County and Karen Harbertson. 7. Request for approval of a Retirement Agreement by and between Weber County and the following: Mike Chavez Patricia Rhodes G. Action Items 1. Request for approval of Equipment Lease Agreement by and between Weber County and Revco Leasing, LLC. for a copier lease. Presenter: John Ulibarri 2. Request for approval of a contract by and between Weber County and Daniel T. Simons, Master Carpenter, for the production of Annie Get Your Gun. Presenter: Kassi Bybee 3. Request for approval of contract by and between Weber County and FFKR Architects for the scoping document study for preparation of the design of parking garage demo and new surface parking lot. Presenter: Scott Mendoza H. Public Hearings 1. Request for a motion to adjourn public meeting and convene public hearing. 2. Public hearing for consideration and decision on a proposal to amend the certain sections of the Land Use Code to provide new open space requirements for cluster subdivisions, with special emphasis on agricultural encouragement, and to offer new or modified definitions and other clerical edits to other sections of code related to the new or modified definitions. Presenter: Charlie Ewert 3. Public hearing for consideration and decision on a proposal to amend the certain sections of the Land Use Code to provide a different method of measuring the height of a building, offer clarifying language for more efficient administration of the new provision, and to add design and aesthetic standards for public utility towers when they are taller than the standard height allowance of the zone. Presenter: Charlie Ewert 4. Public comments (Please limit comments to 3 minutes) 5. Request for a motion to adjourn public hearings and reconvene public meetings. 6. Action on public hearings. H2.
