NOTICE OF BOARD VACANCIES Weber-Box Elder Conservation District Board of Trustees NOTICE IS HEREBY given that there are two (2) vacancies for the Board of Trustees for the Weber-Box Elder Conservation District, an irrigation district. The positions are in precincts 1 and 3. Two (2) eligible electors will be appointed by the Board of Trustees (the 'Board') to fill these positions until they or their successor is elected in the regular election. The candidates for the Trustee positions must be qualified electors of the district. The qualifications for the position of Board of Trustees are as follows: 1. Must be registered to vote in the state of Utah. 2. Must own property within the district and have district water allotted to that property. 3. The candidate's property must be in the precinct where a position is to be filled. 4. If a candidate owns property in more than one precinct, the candidate must file within the precinct where the largest portion of the candidate's property is located. NOTICE IS FURTHER given that to be a candidate for the Board position, an individual must file a declaration of candidacy in person with the district between April 11, 2018 and May 10, 2018 during regular office hours of the district located at Pineview Water Systems, 471 West 2nd Street, Ogden, Utahfrom 8 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. If candidates would like to provide the Board with more information, resumes may be included with the declaration of candidacy. The Board appointments will be made in the monthly board meeting on May 15, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at 471 West 2nd Street, Ogden, Utah.
