INTENT TO ISSUE DEBT NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to the provisions of 11-14-318 and 11-14A-1 of the Utah Code, that on March 1, 2018 at 6:00 p.m., the Governing Board (the 'Governing Board') of the Municipal Building Authority of Ogden City School District, Utah (the 'Authority') will meet at the offices of the Board of Education (the 'Board') of the Ogden City School District located at 1950 Monroe Boulevard, Ogden, Utah and hold a public hearing regarding a resolution (the 'Resolution') declaring its intention to issue its Lease Revenue Bonds, Series 2018 (the 'Bonds') in an amount not to exceed $26,000,000, and receive input from the public with respect to the issuance of the Bonds and the potential economic impact of the improvements financed by the Bonds will have on the private sector. All or a portion of the Bonds would fund a project whose general obligation bond financing was rejected by the voters. The purpose of the hearing is to receive input from the public with respect to the Resolution and to explain to the public the reasons for the issuance of debt. All concerned citizens are invited to attend and participate. Following the hearing, the Governing Board may consider adopting the Resolution. The Authority intends to issue the Bonds to (a) finance improvement of athletic/physical education facilities at Ben Lomond High School for lease to the Board; (b) fund any required debt service reserve; and (c) pay costs of issuance. The Bonds would be payable from the lease payments made by the Board. DATED this 15th day of February, 2018.
