APPROVAL OF FEBRUARY 7, 2017 MINUTES:
Councilmember Jonathan Jones made a motion to accept the minutes of February 7, 2017 as corrected; a second was made by Councilmember Katrina Long.
The vote was unanimous. (1st Motion)

COUNCIL BUSINESS:
Business License Renewals: Shirenes' Salon and Summit Spa & Float were approved; Councilmember Jonathan Jones made a motion to approve business licenses for Sherins' and Summit Spa & Float with a second from councilmember Jeffrey Smith.
Spirit Lake Ranch LLC the council will hold until inspections are completed. (2nd Motion)

Business License New Applications: Central Utah Radon Experts and Your Family Ark LLC were both approved with Councilmember Jeffrey Smith making the motion and a second by Councilmember Katrina Long. The vote was unanimous (3rd Motion)
Councilmember Jeffrey Smith will do road repairs when weather turns warmer. Councilmember Jonathan Jones will be attending an Economic Development meeting this week and will report back on information. Jeffrey Drake will present his Eagle project in the coming weeks. Councilmember Katrina Long is planning Pioneer Day with her committee.
Mayor Greg Newton ended the council session by updating the new community center: sheet rock on ceiling, the city will receive incentives from Rocky Mountain Power; the city will also receive incentives on sheetrock as well.
The electrical has been changed to LED lights. The deed for road by C Store has been received, the property is now owned by Mona City.
Meeting for CIB applications is the 6th of March, and there is grant money available through CDBG.

RECORDERS REPORT: None
DIRECTOR OF FINANCE:
Director of Finance Everd Squire presented the council members with the Bank Register for Checking-dated 2/08/2017 to 2/28/2017. Everd went over the figures with the council and asked if there were questions in reference to this report. He also noted checks over $2,000 must
have an underline and initial by all the council members, there were four (4) checks over the amount of $2,000.
Councilmember Jones had a question on Check#1726, in the amount of $400.00 issued to Continuing Education U of U.
All council members agreed with the report, the report is attached and will become a permanent part of the minutes for public viewing.
There were no further comments from Everd.
FYI: There were four (4) motions voted upon and passed, a motion to approve the February 7, 2017 minutes, and a motion to approve business applications for Sherins' and Summit Spa & Float, a motion to approve business applications for Central Utah Radon Experts, and Your Family Ark LLC, and a motion to adjourn this meeting of February 28, 2017.
There were no other motions voted upon and passed.
PAY FINANCES AND ADJOURNMENT:
Councilmember Jeffrey Smith made a motion to pay the finances and adjourn; a second was made by Councilmember Jonathan Jones. The vote was unanimous.
The city council meeting was then adjourned at 8:31 p.m. with no further comments.

EXECUTIVE SESSION, IF NECESSARY:
An Executive Session was called at 8:35 pm by Councilmember Jonathan Jones and conducted by Mayor Greg Newton. The purpose for the executive was to hold a strategy session to discuss pending or reasonable imminent litigation.
Those present were Mayor Greg Newton, Councilmember's Katrina Long, Jonathan Jones, and Jeffrey Smith.
ABSENT: City Recorder Lyla R Spencer, Councilmember's Molli Graham and Jeffrey Hearty.
The session was adjourned at 8:50 pm with no further comments.
