Commissioner Richard Hatfield called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m.
Minutes:
Commissioner Newton made a motion to approve the minutes of October 5, 2016 as written. Commissioner Riding seconded the motion. The vote to approve the minutes of October 5, 2016, as written, was unanimous.
Jeff Walker - Building Permit
Jeff Walker made application for a building permit for lot 1 of the Willow Cove Subdivision in Mona City. All paperwork was complete, and the plans have been approved by the Mona City Building Inspector, with the exception of cement strappings approval.
Commissioner Hatfield made a motion to forward the Walker Building Permit applications to the City Council with a positive recommendation, with a contingency that the plans are fully approved by the Building Inspector. Commissioner Newton seconded the motion. The vote of the Commission was unanimous in favor of a positive recommendation, with the above contingency.
Brian Kay - Shed Inquiry
Brian Kay bought a home on Main Street and 100 South. This property had an existing shed when Mr. Kay purchased the home. Mr. Kay extended this shed, and has exceeded the allowed setbacks. Mr. Kay told the Commission that he was not aware of the setback requirements when he added on. The Commission and Mr. Kay discussed the placement and size of the existing shed and his addition. The Commission asked Mr. Kay to get exact measurements on the shed and the distance to his property lines. The setback ordinance is also being discussed by the City Council, with possible changes occurring. Commission consensus held that this item would be tabled until accurate measurements were received from Mr. Kay, and the setback ordinance was completed.

Commissioner Newton made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 8:57 pm. Commissioner Riding seconded the motion. The vote to adjourn the meeting, at 8:57 pm was unanimous.
