PUBLIC NOTICE
Notice is hereby given that the St. George City Council will hold public hearings on Thursday, September 22, 2016 at 5:30 PM to consider the following:
A. A request to amend the Sun River and Interchange Planned Developments to:
1. Rezone 9.78 acres of PD-R (Planned Development Residential) zoning, located at the intersection of Arrowhead Canyon Drive and Sun River Parkway, from the Sun River St. George Planned Development into the Interchange Planned Development and combine it into the Mixed Use Area 3.1, and to update its land use to mixed use.
2. Amend the Interchange Planned Development for a proposed five (5) story, 120 room hotel to be located on 2.43 acres fronting Sun River Parkway west of Pioneer Road intersection.
3. Add the use of auto sales & service (including RV) as a permitted use in the Interchange Planned Development CC (Community Commercial) planning areas.
B. A request to change the zone from R-1-10 (Single Family Residential 10,000 sq. ft. minimum lot size) to PD-R (Planned Development Residential) on 2.95 acres to accommodate a multiple family development project consisting of one dwelling structure, which includes 55 apartment units. The project is located on the west side of the logical extension of 2450 east and the Virgin River.
C. A request to change the zone from R-1-12 (Single Family Residential 12,000 sq. ft. minimum lot size) to R-1-10 (Single Family Residential 10,000 sq. ft. minimum lot size) on 0.61 acres located north of Sage Meadows Phase 3 between 2940 East and 3000 East.
D. A request to change the zone from A-P (Administrative Professional) to PD-C (Planned Development Commercial) on approximately 17 acres and include it into the DRMC-IHC medical campus located on the east side of Medical Center Drive.
E. Public Roadway Vacation. Consider approval to vacate a portion of 2150 East Street located between Horseman Park Drive and Crimson Ridge Drive.
Interested persons are encouraged to attend these public hearings to be held in the City Hall Council Chambers at 175 East and 200 North, or present their views in writing at least one day prior to the meeting.
