What: Third and fourth grade students from Stewart Elementary School, a Chinese Immersion school in Centerville, will join Governor Gary R. and First Lady Jeanette Herbert to decorate a Christmas tree in the Governor's Mansion library. The students will perform a Christmas carol in Chinese for Governor and Mrs. Herbert.

Herbert's annual Utah Health Summit was dominated by discussion surrounding whether the state should choose to expand its Medicaid program under the Affordable Care Act (ACA). More than 400 business, community, education, and government leaders were on hand for the governor's third summit, the focus of which was continuing to develop Utah-based solutions to the state's health care challenges.

SALT LAKE CITY - Utah's economy continued to add jobs and maintain low unemployment through the month of August. The unemployment rate held steady for August at 4.7 percent, relatively unchanged from July's 4.6 percent. Though August's job growth of 2.7 percent rate is slower than the previous month, Utah continues to add jobs faster than the national average of 1.7 percent.
