As of May 2009, only State of Utah government data is included on this website. Starting in May of 2010, state universities and colleges, school districts, charter schools, and transit districts will add their data to the website or post their data to their own website. Starting in May of 2011, municipalities and special service districts will either include their data on this website or provide a link to their transparency websites. 

This website contains detail transactions which are uploaded to the website periodically, at least quarterly. Since data is uploaded during the year, these transactions will not be audited. Also, all expenditure transactions are posted to the website such as internal transactions which do not relate to any payee/vendor/customer. These non-vendor transactions will display "Not Applicable" in the vendor field on the detail transaction page. During the year, more and more transactions will be loaded to the website, including correcting entries which may reverse or change the effect of previous entries. The original entry is not modified on the website but both the original and subsequent correcting entry will be included.

Some of the expenditure data is considered private or protected under state and federal laws. If a payee/vendor/customer name is protected by law, the vendor name will be displayed as "Not Provided" on the detail transaction page.

At this time, customer names are not displayed for any revenue transaction. As privacy concerns are addressed some customer names may be displayed in the future.
