State Records Committee

The State Records Committee will hold a meeting on Wednesday, March 19, 2014.  The meeting will be held in the Courtyard Meeting Room, State Archives Building, 346 South Rio Grande Street (450 West), Salt Lake City, Utah, beginning at 9:00 a.m. This is a public meeting, and anyone can attend.  Committee business and five hearings are scheduled. The order of the hearings is tentatively as follows:

Hearings

1.Nate Carlisle, Tribune vs. Bluffdale City.  Mr. Carlisle is appealing the denial of records of water usage at the NSA facility, correspondence to or from the NSA.gov domain, and he is requesting a fee waiver for the records.

2. Jessica Phillips vs. West Jordan Police Department. Ms. Phillips is appealing the denial of an audio and video report made during her detention and arrest.

3 & 4 Lynn Kenneth Packer vs. Attorney General?s Office.  Mr. Packer is appealing the partial denial of records related to employee use of fleet vehicles.
Lynn Kenneth Packer vs. Department of Administrative Services. Mr. Packer is appealing the denial of information maintained by Fleet Operations, a division of Administrative Services.

5. Corey Vonberg vs. Iron County. Mr. Vonberg is appealing the denial of a motion filed by Iron County.
