| Description/Agenda: | ADMINISTRATIVE BUSINESS: 1. Call Meeting to Order 2. Read and Approve the August 14, 2008 Minutes. APPOINTMENTS: 8:00 a.m. Utah Career College, Dr. Carolyn Lewis 8:15 a.m. Stevens-Henager College, Traci Hardell 8:30 a.m. Ameritech College, Dr. Katherine Dimmock 9:00 a.m. Western Governor’s University DISCUSSION ITEMS: -Review written report from Debra Edmunds, Mountainland ATC. -Review NCLEX Pass rates for provisionally approved programs. -Review Idaho State University’s request that their nursing students be exempt from licensure so students can complete a 90 hour clinical rotation at Primary Children’s Hospital as an elective clinical experience. -Use of an external evaluator to review an education program. NEXT SCHEDULED MEETING: Thursday October 9, 2008 ****Please note that Board meetings have been moved to the 2nd Thursday of the Month. Meetings scheduled for the next quarter: Thursday November 13, 2008; Thursday, December 11, 2008; and January 8, 2009. |
