NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BEFORE THE PLANNING COMMISSION

The Provo City Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, August 14, 2013, at 5:00 p.m. in the Municipal Council Chambers of the Provo City Center, located at 351 West Center Street. The items listed below will be discussed, and anyone interested is invited to attend and provide comment. Preceding the public hearing, a briefing will be held at 4:30 p.m. in the Community Development Conference Room, located at 330 West 100 South. The briefing is open to the public; however, formal presentation of items, public comment and actions will be reserved for the public hearing at 5:00 p.m. in the Municipal Council Chambers. Public Hearings
ITEM 1*	Provo City Community Development requests an amendment to Provo City Code Chapter 14.34 "Supplementary Development Standards", to create Section 14.34.510 "Design Standards for Boat & R.V. Sales Lots" City Wide Impact 13-0010OA, Jordan Cullimore, 801-852-6405 This item was continued from the July 10, 2013 meeting.

ITEM 2*	Kris Patten requests approval of a Zoning Map Amendment of approximately 6.05 acres, generally located at 458 South 2470 West, from A1.1 (Agricultural) zone to R1.8 (One Family Residential) zone in order to allow a residential subdivision. ITEM 3*	Washburn Associates requests an Ordinance Amendment to Chapter 14.18.020, Permitted Uses, to permit Funeral Homes and Crematory Services in the SC1 (Neighborhood Shopping Center) zone. City Wide Impact 13-0011OA, Aaron Ardmore, 801-852-6404

Items noted on this agenda with a star (*) require a public hearing and legislative action by the Municipal Council. The Council hearing dates will be noticed 14 days prior to the Council meeting in the legal notices of the Daily Herald.
