NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
MAGNA WATER DISTRICT
Regarding Proposed 2017 Budget
Public notice is hereby given by Magna Water District (the 'District'), pursuant to Utah Code Ann. §17B-1-608 thru 610, that the District will hold a public hearing on December 8, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at the District's Wastewater Treatment Plant Administration Building, located at 7764 West 2100 South, Magna, Utah. The purpose of this public hearing is to provide the public with an opportunity to be heard concerning the District's proposed 2017 budget. The proposed budget shall be available at the District's Main Office located at 2711 S 8600 W for public inspection at least seven days prior to the public hearing. In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, individuals needing reasonable accommodations for participation in the above noticed meeting should contact the District Clerk at 801-250-2118 at least three working days in advance of the meeting. The District does not discriminate on the basis of disability or any other status protected by federal, state, or local law.
Notice of Electronic or Telephone Participation
Trustees may participate electronically in the above noticed meeting in accordance with state law and District regulations. The anchor location for this meeting where the public may attend and monitor the proceedings shall be the Districts board room at 7764 West 2100 South, Magna, Utah, unless otherwise specified above. Any Trustee wishing to participate electronically must notify the District Manager or the District Clerk personally prior to the meeting and provide the telephone number at which the Trustee can be reached at the appointed time. A conference call shall be initiated from the anchor location to each Trustee participating by telephone at the appointed time. If a Trustee is having difficulty connecting to the meeting, please call the District offices at 801-250-2118. This same procedure shall be used at any continuation of this meeting, unless otherwise specified in the meeting.
