2017 BUDGET HEARING
Notice is hereby given that the Kearns Improvement District Board of Trustees will hold a budget hearing on Tuesday, November 15, 2016, at 6:00 p.m., at the Kearns Improvement District Office, 5350 West 5400 South, Kearns, Utah, for the purpose of hearing comments on the estimates of revenues and expenditures or any item in the 2017 Tentative Budget.
FEE INCREASE HEARING
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Trustees of the Kearns Improvement District intends to increase fees charged for sewer service to address repair and replacement of infrastructure needs and nutrient removal requirements for our regional wastewater treatment plant. A public hearing will be held on Tuesday, November 15, 2016, commencing at 6:00 p.m., at the Kearns Improvement District Office, 5350 West 5400 South, Kearns, Utah, for the purpose of hearing comments regarding the proposed increase of the sewer service fee and to explain the reasons for the proposed increase. After the hearing, the Board may impose the fee increase as proposed, adjust the amount of the increase before imposition, or decline to impose the proposed fee increase.
