- NOTICE OF PROPOSED TAX INCREASE Midvale City Corporation The Midvale City Corporation is proposing to increase its property tax revenue. - The Midvale City Corporation tax on a $194,200 residence would increase from $61.10 to $124.75, which is $63.65 per year. - The Midvale City Corporation tax on a $194,200 business would increase from $111.08 to $226.83, which is $115.75 per year. - If the proposed budget is approved, Midvale City Corporation would increase its property tax budgeted revenue by 107.73% above last year's property tax budgeted revenue excluding new growth. All concerned citizens are invited to a public hearing on the tax increase. PUBLIC HEARING Date/Time: 8/9/2016 7:00 p.m. Location: Midvale City Hall 7505 South Holden Street Midvale, Utah To obtain more information regarding the tax increase, citizens may contact Midvale City Corporation at 801-567-7238.
