Redevelopment Agency of Murray City NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on the 2nd day of August, 2016, at the hour of 5:00 p.m. of said day in the Council Chambers of the Murray City Center, 5025 South State Street, Murray, Utah, the Redevelopment Agency of Murray City ('RDA') will hold and conduct a hearing to receive public comment concerning the following: 1. a proposed amendment to the RDA Central Business District Project Area ('CBD') Plan to expand the tax collection area within the CBD to incorporate approximately 10.18 acres; and 2. a proposed amendment to the RDA Smelter Site Neighborhood Development Project Area ('Smelter Site') Budget to provide for an annual pass through to the Murray School District equal to twelve percent (12%) of Smelter Site tax increment revenue. A person may be sent, at no cost to the person, copies of the boundary descriptions for the RDA Central Business District Project Area and the RDA Smelter Site Neighborhood Development Project Area on request made to the Executive Director of the RDA, 5025 South State Street, Murray, Utah 84107. The boundary descriptions can also be found on the Murray City website at www.murray.utah.gov. Comments concerning the subject matter of the hearing can be submitted before the hearing to the Redevelopment Agency of Murray City, 5025 South State Street, Murray, Utah 84107. Property tax revenues resulting from an increase in valuation of property within the proposed expanded tax collection area will be paid to the RDA rather than to the taxing entities to which the tax revenues would otherwise have been paid.
