*AMENDED - NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING, REGULAR SESSION AGENDA
PUBLIC HEARING
The American Fork City Council will meet in a public hearing on Tuesday, April 12, 2016, in the American Fork City Hall, 31 North Church Street as follows:
7:15 p.m. Receiving public comment regarding the declaration of certain property to be surplus
7:20 p.m. Receiving public comment regarding the City's intent to annex the Smart Annexation consisting of 29.87 acres at 1100 North 1200 East.
REGULAR SESSION
The American Fork City Council will meet in regular session on Tuesday, April 12, 2016, in the American Fork City Hall, 31 North Church Street, commencing at 7:30 p.m. The agenda shall be as follows:
1. Pledge of Allegiance; prayer by Colleen Eggett, Library Director; roll call.
2. Twenty-minute public comment period - limited to two minutes per person.
3. City Administrator's Report.
4. Council Reports concerning Committee Assignments.
5. Mayor's Report
COMMON CONSENT AGENDA
(Common Consent is that class of Council action that requires no further discussion or which is routine in nature. All items on the Common Consent Agenda are adopted by a single motion unless removed from the Common Consent Agenda by the Mayor or a Councilmember and placed in the action items.)
1. Approval of the March 24, 2016 Minutes
2. Approval of the March 29, 2016 Minutes
3. Approval of City bills for payment, manually prepared checks, and purchase requests over $25,000
ACTION ITEMS
1. Review and action on a Resolution declaring certain property to be surplus and to be disposed of. (Requested by Terilyn Lurker, Deputy Recorder)
2. Review and action on the Ordinance of Annexation for the Brad Reynolds American Fork City Annexation located at 725 West 200 South consisting of 18.45 acres and placement of the property in the RA-5 Residential Agricultural zone. (Requested by Terilyn Lurker, Deputy Recorder)
3. Review and action on a Resolution approving an amendment to the bicycle and pedestrian element of the general plan for the relocation of recommended bicycle and pedestrian facilities in the area of 200 E Main Street. (Requested by Adam Olsen, Planning)
4. Review and action on a Resolution amending the Transportation Element of the American Fork City General Plan in order to eliminate a collector class road at 860/ 900 East between 50 South and Pacific Drive (Requested by Dale Goodman, Public Works)
*5. Review and action on entering into an Executive Session to discuss the professional character and competence of individuals. (Requested by Mayor Hadfield)
