Description/Agenda

The public is invited to attend a public hearing before the Midvale City Council on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at 7:00 pm in the Midvale City Council Chambers located at 7505 South Holden Street, Midvale, Utah. The City Council will be considering a text amendment to change the review process and requirements for apiaries in the SF-1 and SF-2 zone districts (Chapters 17-1-1 and 17-1-2 of the Midvale Municipal Code). The amendment would decrease the required lot size and increase the number of bee colonies allowed for an apiary use with the application being reviewed through the administrative conditional use process. This is a City initiated request. All interested parties are invited to attend the meeting or contact Lesley Burns in the Midvale City Planning and Zoning Department at (801) 567-7229 for more information.

Notice of Special Accommodations (ADA)

Notice of Electronic or Telephone Participation

Council Members may participate in the meeting via telephonic communication. If a Council Member does participate via telephonic communication, the Councilmember will be on speakerphone. The speakerphone will be amplified so that the other Council Members and all other persons present in the Council Chambers will be able to hear all discussions.
