Description/Agenda

Public Hearing: Utah County Commission, Tuesday, March 24, 2015, at 9:00 A.M., in Room 1400, County Administration Building, 100 East Center Street, Provo, Utah, to consider the Kenyon Farley Area 1 Agriculture Protection Area, Sec 30, T9S, R2E, SLB&M, 72.01 acres. Modifications to add to the proposed Agriculture Protection Area: BNH, 27.48 acres; Kultani Briarpatch Platinum Limited Partnership, 5.26 acres; and Helina Carter-Thomas, 9.028 acres. Modification to exclude: Payson City Municipal Corporation and Payson City Power and Light, proposed 40 foot wide right-of-way easement approximately 40 ft. north of 12400 South road. The Utah County Planning Commission recommended that the proposed Agricultural Protection Area and the proposed four modifications be approved. The Utah County Agricultural Advisory Board recommended that the proposed Agriculture Protection Area and only the proposed three modifications to add the additional areas be approved. Any person or entity may attend the public hearing and comment for or against the proposed Agriculture Protection Area, or provide written objection to the proposal to the Utah County Commission prior to the date of the public hearing.
