PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that Sandy City, Utah intends to amend the Sandy City General Plan with an update to the Southtowne Automall Master Plan. If you have questions or comments concerning this proposal, please attend the Planning Commission meeting to be held in the City Council Chambers, or please call Jared Gerber in the Community Development Department at (801) 568-7265.
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that Sandy City, Utah intends to prepare a proposed amendment to the Sandy City Land Development Code. The proposed Code Amendment will consider the following: Amend Title 15A, Chapter 23, Commercial, Office, Industrial, & Transit Corridor Development Standards, Land Development Code, Revised Ordinances of Sandy City, 2008. The purpose of the Code Amendment is to update the regulations related to the Automall Dealership and Commercial Sub-Districts. PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that Sandy City, Utah will consider a rezoning request submitted Mrs. Jean Reynolds. She is requesting to rezone approximately 2.57 acres from the R-1-40A 'Single-Family Residential District' to the R-1-10 & R-1-20A 'Single-Family Residential Districts.' The subject property is located at approximately 2543 East 10000 South. The resulting application of zoning would allow for a subdivision proposal of the property creating 5 (five) lots. Two (2) of the proposed lots on the northwest edge of the property are requested to be zoned R-1-10, while the rest of the three (3) proposed lots on the property is requested to be zoned R-1-20A. These proposed amendments/rezone will be heard in a public hearing that will be held in the Sandy City Hall, Council Chambers, 10000 Centennial Parkway (170 West), Sandy, Utah, before the Sandy City Planning Commission on April 2, 2015 at approximately 6:15 pm.
