Water Meter Vaults Modification Project
Riverton City is conducting an Invitation for Bid for the Water Meter Vaults Modification Project. The Project consists of retrofitting three metering valve stations to provide motorized actuating control of metered culinary water to the Riverton City distribution system. Work includes: provide and install two high-resilient butterfly valves to control flow of culinary water, replacement of a gate valve, check valve, spool pieces, fittings and other appurtenant piping as necessary. Also included in the project is installation of conduit and wiring for telemetry and control, and for pressure measurement and monitoring within the metering and valve stations. Minor concrete, asphalt and/or landscaping replacement is also a part of this project, along with other items included as specified. Coordination with, and inclusion for work to be done by the Riverton City SCADA Contractor is required as part of this project. Details of this coordination are described in the project plans and specifications and will be discussed at the mandatory pre-bid meeting. Sealed bids will be due in the Purchasing Office, located at 12830 South 1700 West, Riverton, Utah 84065, at 2:00 pm on Thursday, March 12, 2015. Bids submitted after this time will not be accepted. Bid security in the form of a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid shall accompany each bid. Riverton City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held Tuesday, March 10, 2015, at 10:00 am, at the Riverton City Public Works Building, located at 12526 South 4150 West, Riverton, Utah 84065.
An electronic format of the bid package including plans may be obtained through the purchasing website after Wednesday, March 4, 2015.

Notice of Special Accommodations (ADA)
The City Office is an accessible facility. Individuals needing special accommodations or assistance during this meeting shall notify the City Recorder?s Office at 801-208-3126, at least two business days in advance of the meeting. Accessible parking and entrance are located on the south end of the building with elevator access to the City Council Chambers located on the second floor.
