The City of West Jordan Utah is seeking bids for a contractor to furnish all equipment, labor, materials, and appurtenances for the construction of 2015 ADA Pedestrian Ramps project, project number RD 15-04.
This project is being funding by the Community Development Block Grant Program.
The engineer?s estimate for this project is $187,000.00.
Sealed bids will be received by the City of West Jordan, City Clerk/Recorders Office, 8000 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah 84088 until Tuesday, March 24th at 2:00 P.M. at which time they shall be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids shall be deemed received when they are in the physical possession of the City Clerk/Recorder or designee.
Bids, modifications, or corrections will not be accepted if they are not timely received by the City Clerk/Recorders Office, regardless of the cause, whether or not by action or inaction of the City, including but not limited to delayed, lost, undelivered or misdirected mail. E-mailed and/or Facsimile transmitted bids will not be accepted.
The attention of bidders is called particularly to the requirements of conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid as required under Davis Bacon Wage regulations, Section 3, Segregated Facilities, Section 109, Executive Order 11246, and all applicable laws and regulations of the Federal Government and State of Utah and bonding insurance equipments. The requirements for bidders and contractors under this order are set forth in the contract documents.
In particular, bidders should note the required attachments and certifications to be executed and submitted with the bid proposal.
