NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE is hereby given that the DAVIS COUNTY BOARD OF HEALTH will hold a public hearing in Room #2021 of the Davis County Health Department, 22 South State Street, Clearfield, Utah, at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, October 6, 2014. Pursuant to Utah Code 26A-1-12(1), the Board of Health will hold a public hearing to afford interested persons an opportunity to submit written data, views, and comments regarding the proposed changes to the ?Electronic Smoking Device Regulation.? The proposed changes to the regulation include removing the requirements for E-Liquid packaging containers to be leak proof and tamper evident while maintaining the child proof component; removing the E-Liquid labeling requirement for displaying nicotine content in mg/mL or percent by volume; changing the specific E-Liquid labeling safety warning to a general safety warning; and adding ?walls? to the cleanable E-Liquid manufacturing facility surface requirements. Copies of the regulation are available for review at the Environmental Health Services Division office located at 22 South State Street, Clearfield, Utah, or the Department website (http://www.daviscountyutah.gov/health/public-hearing/default.cfm). Written comments concerning the regulation changes will be considered as part of the hearing record if received at the Environmental Health Services Division office before 5:00 p.m. Monday, October 13, 2014.
