Riverton City Public Notice Pursuant to Utah Code Section 10-8-2, please take notice that on the date of September 16, 2014, the Riverton City Council will hold a public hearing to consider whether to approve a one year lease agreement with the South Valley Sanctuary, a Utah nonprofit organization dedicated to the purpose of providing support to victims of domestic violence. The public hearing will begin shortly after 6:30 pm, at the Riverton City Council Chambers, 12830 South Redwood Road, Riverton, Utah. If approved, said lease agreement will provide a single room within the Sandra Lloyd Community Center, located at the same address, for office space purposes. Rent for use of said office space shall be measured against the value of the intangible benefits received by Riverton City for domestic violence support provided by the South Valley Sanctuary, and will be waived to the extent such value equals the value of rent Riverton City could reasonably expect to receive for ordinary use of the same space.

In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, individuals needing special accommodations or assistance during this meeting shall notify the City Recorder?s Office at 801-208-3126, at least 24 hours prior to the meeting. Accessible parking and entrance are located on the south end of the building with elevator access to the City Council Chambers located on the second floor.
