Description/Agenda: RIVERTON CITY PUBLIC NOTICE The Riverton Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Thursday, September 25, 2014, at 6:30 p.m. and the Riverton City Council will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at 6:30 p.m. in the Riverton City Municipal Building located at 12830 South Redwood Road to hear following item(s): ? Riverton City has proposed amendments Sections 18.187, 18.05.030, and 18.85.090 regulating Check Cashing Businesses. Proposed amendments include definitions, and population and distance based limitations. Further information may be obtained from the Riverton City Planning Department by calling 801-208-3138 or 801-208-3130.
Notice of Special Accommodations (ADA): In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, individuals needing special accommodations or assistance during this meeting shall notify the City Recorder?s Office at 801-208-3126, at least 24 hours prior to the meeting. Accessible parking and entrance are located on the south end of the building with elevator access to the City Council Chambers located on the second floor.
