NOTICE OF INTENT TO ANNEX On July 22, 2014, the City Council of American Fork, Utah, adopted Resolution No. 2014-07-32R, indicating its intent to annex the following described real property: Duncan Annexation (570 West 700 South) Description: Beginning at a point which is South 78.84 feet and West 693.01 feet from the Southeast Corner of Section 22, Township 5 South, Range 1 East, Salt Lake Base and Meridian; Running thence S 01o01?46? W 880.18 feet; thence West 32.99 feet; thence South 120.08 feet; thence West 516.78 feet; thence S 89o59?52? W 249.40 feet; thence N 00o01?13? W 803.90 feet; thence North 117.00 feet; thence East 296.27 feet; thence N 00o54?25? E 228.00 feet; thence East 431.36 feet; thence N 00o54?25? E 576.16 feet; thence N 89o57?59? E 34.06 feet; thence N 00o00?01? W 448.85 feet; to a point along the south annexation line of the Harbor Enterprises Annexation; thence along said annexation line N 89o58?00? E 28.82 feet; thence S 00o47?35? W 289.37 feet; thence S 00o03?57? E 43.48 feet; thence South 170.04 feet; thence S 00o00?03? E 591.85 feet; thence S 00o00?20? E 78.86 feet to the point of beginning. Annexation parcel containing 20.54 acres. Basis of Bearing: Utah State Plane Coordinate System, Central Zone. Notice is hereby given that the American Fork City Council will hold a public hearing on August 26, 2014, at 7:25 p.m. in the American Fork City Hall, 31 North Church Street, for the purpose of receiving public comment regarding the proposed annexation. The City Council will act to annex the above described real property unless, at or before the public hearing, written protests to the annexation are filed by the owners of real property in accordance with applicable provisions of UCA 10-2-418. Copies of a map showing the location of the annexation area are available for review by the public at the City Recorder?s Office, 51 East Main Street, during normal business hours.
