- The Midvale City is proposing to increase its property tax revenue. - The Midvale City tax on a $175,000 residence would increase from $59.96 to $70.84, which is $10.88 per year. - The Midvale City tax on a $175,000 business would increase from $109.03 to $128.80, which is $19.77 per year. - If the proposed budget is approved, Midvale City would increase its property tax budgeted revenue by 17.89% above last year's property tax budgeted revenue excluding new growth. All concerned citizens are invited to a public hearing on the tax increase. PUBLIC HEARING Date/Time: 8/5/2014 7:00 pm Location: 655 West Center Street, Midvale, UT 84047 To obtain more information regarding the tax increase, citizens may contact Midvale City at 801-567-7238.

- Council Members may participate in the meeting via telephonic communication. If a Council Member does participate via telephonic communication, the Councilmember will be on speakerphone. The speakerphone will be amplified so that the other Council Members and all other persons present in the Council Chambers will be able to hear all discussions.
