NOTICE OF INTENT TO ANNEX On June 10, 2014, the City Council of American Fork, Utah, adopted Resolution No. 2014-06-22R, indicating its intent to annex the following described real property: Ashley Meadows Annexation (900 North 900 West) Beginning at a point located North 661.51 feet from the South Quarter Corner of Section 10, Township 5 South, Range 1 East, Salt Lake Base and Meridian; Thence along the existing American Fork City Boundary the following nine courses and distances: 1) West 34.00 feet, 2) South 80°25?11? West 51.87 feet, 3) South 87°53?42? West 137.95 feet, 4) North 27.26 feet, 5) North 89°48?38? West 120.82 feet, 6) South 2°20?25? West 160.62 feet, 7) South 89°34?52? West 167.19 feet, 8) South 0°35?08? East 188.76 feet, 9) West 319.93 feet; Thence North along the existing Lehi City Boundary a distance of 865.22 feet; Thence along the American Fork City Boundary the following three courses and distances: 1) North 80°25?21? East 14.99 feet, 2) South 88°37?28? East 168.09 feet, 3) North 89°26?00? East 652.17 feet: Thence South 0°03?55? East 533.64 feet to the Point of Beginning Containing 13.20 acres, more or less Basis of Bearing: Utah State Plane Coordinate System NAD 1927, Central Zone Notice is hereby given that the American Fork City Council will hold a public hearing on July 22, 2014, at 7:20 p.m. in the American Fork City Hall, 31 North Church Street, for the purpose of receiving public comment regarding the proposed annexation. The City Council will act to annex the above described real property unless, at or before the public hearing, written protests to the annexation are filed by the owners of real property in accordance with applicable provisions of UCA 10-2-418. Copies of a map showing the location of the annexation area are available for review by the public at the City Recorders Office, 51 East Main Street, during normal business hours.
