Description/Agenda

A. Call to order. B. Welcome the Public and Guests. Explain there is no public comment during this workshop, however the Regular Board Meeting will be held immediately after and the public will have the opportunity to comment at that time. C. Presentation of the 2013 annual audit by Pinnock, Robins, Posey, & Richins. D. Discussion on adopting the ERISA required summary plan document for the District?s existing executive benefit plan. E. Discussion on Resolution #2014 ? 03, regarding the 2014 Certified Tax Rate. F. Discussion on Resolution #2014 - 04, regarding the amendment to the 2014 Budget. G. Discussion on request from West Valley City, for construction access to Barton Well field for building an embankment inside our well field along the east property line. H. Discussion on the change of lateral size at Arbor Park Development. I. Discussion to amend Whitaker?s Construction contract to include the secondary line for Head Start. J. Discussion on a Lagoon Day for Magna Water employees and Trustees. K. Discussion on an email migration project, to be administered by Leverage IT. L. Discussion on possibly sending customers a water conservation pamphlet. M. Discussion on amending the motion made on the District vehicles and retaining truck #69 2009 GMC Canyon 4-wheel drive for standby purposes. N. Discussion on the remaining $2.1 M of bond authorization. O. Discussion on the open house for the WWTP Administration building to be held on June 26, 2014 from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. P. Discussion on a request to the District regarding purchasing underground water rights. Q. Discussion to begin the process of interviewing an analytical consultant/chemist. R. Discussion on sending individuals to the Intermountain Section AWWA, September 10-12, St. George, UT Discussion on sending individuals to the WEFTEC, September 27 ? October1, 2014, New Orleans. S. Adjourn.

Any Trustee wishing to participate electronically must notify the District Manager or the District Clerk personally prior to the meeting and provide the telephone number at which the Trustee can be reached at the appointed time. A conference call shall be initiated from the anchor location to each Trustee participating by telephone at the appointed time. If a Trustee is having difficulty connecting to the meeting, please call the District offices at 801-250-2118. This same procedure shall be used at any continuation of this meeting, unless otherwise specified in the meeting.
