NOTICE OF INTENT TO ANNEX
On March 11, 2014, the City Council of American Fork, Utah, adopted Resolution No. 2014-03-09R, indicating its intent to annex the following described real property:
Red Leaf Annexation
(825 East 50 South)
Beginning at a point which is North 89°45'23" West 633.54 feet along the Section Line from the Northeast corner of Section 24, Township 5 South, Range 1 East, Salt Lake Base and Meridian, said Point of Beginning also being along the south annexation boundary of the Briarwood Addition Plat on file with the Utah County Recorder?s Office;
Running thence South 00°20'51" West 264.47 feet;
Thence South 00°20'51" West 240.81 feet to a point along the north annexation boundary of the North Granite View Annexation Plat on file with the Utah County Recorder?s Office;
Thence along said North Granite View Annexation Plat the following course:
North 89°45?06? West154.15 feet to point along the east annexation boundary of the Vacher Annexation plat on file with the Utah County Recorder?s Office;
Thence along said Vacher Annexation Plat the following three (3) courses:
North 477.11 feet,
West 9.11 feet, and
North 28.20 feet to a point along the south annexation boundary of the Briarwood Addition Plat on file with the Utah County Recorder?s Office;
Thence along said Briarwood Addition Plat the following course: South 89°45'23" East 166.32 feet to the Point of Beginning.
Contains 78,917 SF or 1.81 AC
Notice is hereby given that the American Fork City Council will hold a public hearing on April 22, 2014, at 7:20 p.m. in the American Fork City Hall, 31 North Church Street, for the purpose of receiving public comment regarding the proposed annexation.
The City Council will act to annex the above described real property unless, at or before the public hearing, written protests to the annexation are filed by the owners of real property in accordance with applicable provisions of UCA 10-2-418.
Copies of a map showing the location of the annexation area are available for review by the public at the City Recorders Office, 51 East Main Street, during normal business hours.
