Salt Lake City, Utah This agenda is subject to change up to 24 hours prior to the meeting. ADMINISTRATIVE BUSINESS: 1. Call Meeting to Order 2. Approve the July 9, 2009 Minutes. APPOINTMENTS: 7:30 a.m. Utah Career College Nursing program 7:50 a.m. Stevens-Henager College, Traci Hardell 8:10 a.m. Ameritech College, Lona Broadhead DISCUSSION ITEMS: -Review NCLEX pass rates for provisionally approved programs. -Review NCLEX Quarter pass rates -Review request from Dixie State College to discontinue its 1+1 program and begin a straight ADN program effective fall 2010. -Review written reports from: Mountainland ATC, Debra Edmund -Review articulation agreement for Steven-Henager College -Review letter from Idaho State University requesting the Board to expand its approval for ISU baccalaureate students to be exempt from licensure so ISU students can participate in learning experiences in facilities throughout the State. -Review letter from Mountain Star Healthcare to create a nurse residency program -Review request from Utah Career College’s nursing education program to terminate the MOU and issue full approval status. NEXT SCHEDULED MEETING: Thursday, October 8, 2009 Meetings scheduled for the next quarter: Thursday, November 12, 2009; December 10, 2009 and January 14, 2010.
