City Council Special Meeting Agenda September 10, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. City Council Chambers Municipal Building ? Third Floor 2549 Washington Boulevard, Ogden, UT 84401 1. Roll Call. 2. Pledge of Allegiance. 3. Moment of Silence. 4. Recognition: a. Constitution Week. Proposed Joint Proclamation declaring September 17-23, 2013 as ?Constitution Week? in Ogden City. (Adopt/not adopt Joint Proclamation ? roll call vote) 5. Approval of Minutes: a. Work Session of May 30, 2013 ? Council member Hyer 6. Public Hearings: a. Childs Avenue Street Vacation: i. Presentation. ii. Accept public input. iii. Consideration of proposed Ordinance 2013-42 - Option ?A? OR Option ?B?: 1. Option A: Approve street vacation with conditions as recommended by the Planning Commission: The vacation becomes effective once Park Boulevard is dedicated and installed as a public street; a pedestrian and utility easement is provided in the vacated portion of Childs Avenue; and the City combines the Neighborhood and Redevelopment land (030370019 and 030370023) into one ownership so that there is not an isolated lot. 2. Option B: Approve street vacation with conditions as proposed by Administration: Vacate eastern half of right of way upon the dedication of Park Boulevard, with western half vacated upon completion of Park Boulevard extension; a pedestrian and utility easement is provided in the vacated portion of Childs Avenue; and the City combines the Neighborhood and Redevelopment land (030370019 and 030370023) into one ownership so that there is not an isolated lot. iv. Adopt/not adopt ordinance ? roll call vote. 7. Public Comments: This is an opportunity to address the Council regarding your concerns or ideas.
