Call Meeting to Order

DISCUSSION ITEMS:
1.	Next training session. July 30, 2009. Vernal City Police Department.
2.	Welcome to Gaylen Rust to the Board. Representing the Coin Dealers in Utah. 
3.	Are there any suggestions or input from Mr. Rust that would benefit the industries represented on the board? 
4.	Update from Salt Lake City Police Department and/or Salt Lake County Sheriff on any new difficulties with the database or NCIC data. Resolutions?
5.	Law Enforcement is to be assuring that data is being sent from a shop, accepted by the database, properly available to users? Spot checks. Most of the reports being made are concerning secondhand merchants not sending their information. 
6.	What is or can be done to notify an agency that an item is listed as stolen by the NCIC system? Does this require an item by item search by Law Enforcement? Process?
7.	Line item description of pawned or sold items. NA or lack of proper description.
8.	Board members not attending. Suggestions? Contact the SLCSO to replace Don Campbell. Change in assignments.
9.	Board member open forum for discussion.  Subjects and areas of concern? i.e.
	a. Emphasis on Law Enforcement contacting shops and working with compliance issues. 
	b. Shops properly downloading to the database. 
	c. Checking the database for those shops not downloading. Law Enforcement to follow-up with shops. Bring this up in training sessions.
	d. Other observations from the Board. 	 
6. 	Next Board Meeting Date? Quarterly?
