Notice of Public Hearing
Notice is hereby given of a public hearing to be held in the West Jordan City Hall, 8000 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah, before the West Jordan City Council on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. to obtain citizen input on the use of Community Development Block Grant funds for FY 2013-2014. Proposals for use of the funds have been received and reviewed by the West Jordan CDBG/HOME committee. The committee has made the following recommendations for consideration by the City Council:

In addition, written comments can be submitted to the address noted above. In addition, comments will be received concerning the West Jordan 2010-2015 Five-Year Consolidated Plan and the FY 2013-2014 Annual Action Plan.
The City of West Jordan provides accommodations and auxiliary communicative aids and services for all those citizens in need of assistance. Persons requesting these accommodations should call the City Recorder at 801-569-5115, giving her at least three working days? notice. Persons with hearing disabilities should contact the City through the Utah Relay System at 7-1-1.
Amendment to the April 24, 2013 Public Hearing for CDBG Funding
Due to an anticipated 4% increase in funding for the West Jordan Community Development Block Grant Program, the following recommendations have been revised from the original notice:
South Valley Sanctuary Bilingual Lead Case Manager -$11,500; Community Action Program ? Financial Counseling $8,000; South County Food Pantry $5,000; Legal Aid Society $11,000; The Road Home $11,500; Big Brothers Big Sisters $4,500; Family Support Center $5,000; Boys & Girls Club $10,500; Visions for Families $2,189; Program Administration $89,876; ADA Ramps/Overlay $38,436.
Should the total 4% increased not be received then each request will be reduced by difference in the percentage actually received from the Department of Housing & Urban Development.
