Will welcome students who will be voting early (and for the first time); new Marriott Library Early Voting location one of many Early Voting Locations

Lt. Gov. Greg Bell, Salt Lake County Clerk Sherrie Swensen and students from the University of Utah's THE VOTE PROJECT.

WHAT:
Lt. Governor Bell and Salt Lake County Clerk Sherrie Swensen will make brief comments as they welcome students to the new Early Voting location at the University of Utah's Marriott Library. Early Voting begins on Tuesday and ends on Oct. 29th. The U of U was one of the most popular Early Voting locations in the state in the 2008 elections.

Several students will be voting for the first time ever on Tuesday following the presentations. These representatives of THE VOTE PROJECT will encourage fellow students to vote.

Lt. Gov. Bell will also discuss the success to this point of the state's new voter information website, VOTE.UTAH.GOV, which has received nearly 30,000 visits since its launch last month.
