The Historic Governor's Mansion

old picture of the mansionDuring an era that combined the grace and dignity of living at the close of the 1800s with the new, highly expressive styles that marked the first decade of the twentieth century, Thomas and Jennie Kearns built a home on the corner of G and Brigham Streets. The story of the Kearns mansion is one steeped in a rich and colorful history.

The governor's mansion is open for public tours Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2-4 p.m. at no cost. Parking is available east of the governor's mansion behind the Utah Arts Council building. The lot is accessible from H Street. For more information, call (801) 538-1005.
