SALT LAKE CITY - The Public Lands Policy Coordination Office will host a public meeting on Wednesday, August 14, 2013 to discuss public lands issues and possible solutions. A panel of researchers from the University of Utah and Utah State University will be present to discuss and receive information, which could be useful in an economic analysis of the transfer of federal lands to State ownership.

"We want to provide opportunity for the public to provide valuable information about the economic values of the public lands and how the state could optimize these values," said Kathleen Clarke, Director of the Public Lands Policy Office.

The event will be held at the State Office Building auditorium of the Capitol Hill Complex on Wednesday, August 14, 2013 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. All are welcome to attend.
