Governor's Office Spotlights Constituent Services
Jun. 26, 2013
SALT LAKE CITY - Governor Gary R. Herbert wants his office to be accessible to the people of Utah. No matter their concern or comment, citizens of the Beehive State should be able to communicate with their elected officials and their staff. As a result, the Utah Governor's Office includes a team of responsive, citizen-oriented Constituent Services professionals that can be reached by phone, email or internet.
According to Constituent Services Director Gloria Hunt, "Governor Herbert welcomes thoughtful comments regarding any state issue that is important to Utahns. It is his policy and our practice to provide a timely, well-informed and thoughtful response when constituents request it."
Citizens contact the Governor's Office for a variety of reasons. Some may be seeking contact information for a specific state office, while others may not know whom to call about a specific problem or issue. Sometimes citizens want to share an opinion, while other times they may need assistance navigating a process at a state agency.
Citizens may visit the Governor's website at www.utah.gov/governor and then click the red button to the right of the page for the different options to contact the Governor's Office. Or Utah residents may call the Governor's Office at (801) 538-1000, or toll free 800-705-2464, during regular business hours and request Constituent Services.
