Thomas is currently serving as a 2nd District court commissioner. Thomas attended Weber State University and Brigham Young University and earned his MBA and JD from the University of Utah.
"I am grateful to Governor Huntsman for this appointment, humbled at his trust and excited about the prospects of living with and serving the good people in the 7th District," Thomas said.
