Governor Encourages Fleet Transition to Alternative Fuel Vehicles for Clean Air

What: Today Governor Gary R. Herbert will re-affirm his call for state and local government, schools, public transit, businesses and industry to transition more of their fleet to clean fuel vehicles.
Why: This year's winter inversion season was particularly severe. The Governor has called on everyone to do their part to improve air quality. Today's announcement highlights one way the public sector and industry can step up. Bill S.B. 275 initiates a process to target heavy vehicle and fleet emissions.
