WHAT: Governor Gary R. Herbert will convene his Education Excellence Commission, public and higher education leaders, Utah College of Applied Technology (UCAT) leaders, and representatives of the business community at his annual education summit.
WHY: The purpose of the summit is to ensure collaboration between education and business leaders to reach the goal of 66% of all working-age Utahns having or obtaining a post-secondary degree or certification by 2020.
