Governor to Announce New Adjutant General of Utah National Guard
 
 
WHAT:           In his role as commander in chief, Governor Gary R. Herbert will announce his selection of the new adjutant general of the Utah National Guard.
 
                        Current adjutant general Maj. Gen. Brian L. Tarbet will retire after completing his second six-year term this fall. The new adjutant general will then assume command of the 7,000 Airmen and Soldiers of the Utah National Guard.
 
WHO:             Governor Gary R. Herbert, current adjutant general Maj. Gen. Brian L. Tarbet and the selected new adjutant general.
