WHAT: The Governor's Health Summit 2011 - Health Innovations: Utah Solutions for a Healthy Economy and Community
WHO: Governor Gary R. Herbert, Michael O. Leavitt, the Utah Department of Health, business leaders, health care providers, consumer and community representatives, government officials; nearly 500 participants are expected to join the summit to lay the groundwork for Utah's health policy.

BACKGROUND: The Health Summit will serve as the kickoff to develop Utah's Five-Year Health Plan, with work panels launching future subject-specific efforts. Governor Herbert and Michael O. Leavitt, former Utah Governor and Secretary of Health and Human Services, are keynote speakers. Clayton Christensen, Harvard Business Professor, praised author and world's foremost authority on Disruptive Innovation, will give a video address as well. Registration is open to the public.
