Salt Lake City - Governor Gary R. Herbert has named Bountiful resident Susan Devey to the Alcoholic Beverage Control Commission. With her appointment, there are no remaining vacancies on the Commission, so efforts to identify a new executive director for the Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (DABC) are underway.

"With her business training, community-oriented background and common sense approach to issues, Susan Devey provides an ideal complement to the current composition of the ABC Commission," said the Governor. "As the agency faces a time of uncertainty and inquiry, I trust Susan and all other members of the Commission will work cooperatively to restore confidence in DABC.

A successful business woman and community leader, Susan Devey is currently employed by L3 Communications. Her community service includes volunteer work, substitute teaching, and serving as a community council member and PTA president.

Members of the Alcoholic Beverage Control Commission serve a four year term.
