Following a weekend of meetings in the nation's capital with the National Governors Association, Utah Governor Gary R. Herbert will tell Utah's story on health care and wilderness tomorrow before two House committees in Washington, D.C.
At 9:45 a.m. EST, Governor Herbert will appear with Mississippi Governor Haley Barbour and Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick before the House Energy and Commerce Committee. The subject is "The Consequences of Obamacare: Impact on Medicaid and State Health Care Reform." The hearing is scheduled to take place in room 2123 of the Rayburn House Office Building. At 2:00 p.m. EST, Governor Herbert will join Idaho Governor Butch Otter before the House Committee on Natural Resources to address "The Impact of the Administration's Wild Lands Order on Jobs and Economic Growth."
